About ELiSE
ELiSE is currently being developed into a neuromodulation device based on transcranial direct current stimulation. It comprises three components, namely a mobile app, a modulation unit and a headset.
Each component is carefully designed for ease in control, compactness in design and user convenience in mind; our innovation in 3Cs.
The ELiSE mobile app
The ELiSE mobile app is designed to be an interface or hub allowing users to seamlessly control the entire ELiSE system. The app will be developed with several security features including the requirement for user login to prevent unauthorised usage. The app also allows users to set the current intensity and stimulation duration. Aside from being a control hub, the app will also allow real-time monitoring and tracking of treatment parameters, such as current delivered, contact impedance and remaining duration.
The ELiSE modulation unit
We currently have two versions of the modulation unit, v7.5 (left) and v8 (right). v7.5 is a one-touch device, while v8 is an app-enabled device. Both units are powered by a lithium polymer battery and are capable of providing up to 18 sessions of 20 minute stimulation on a full charge. Stimulation parameters, such as current intensity and stimulation duration can be adjusted accordingly. Moreover, both units are equipped with built-in safety features that will terminate the current supply to the electrodes when contact impedance is too high or when current intensity exceeds 2 mA.
We also of variations of these devices that can be used for research, such as the ability to delivery current in continuous, pulsed or sham mode, and the ability to change the current ramping duration.

Learn more about v7.5
The v7.5 modulation unit uses a one-button operation to perform all the controls of the device, making it convenient easy to operate and convenient. The one-button system allows control over the setting of current intensity, stimulation duration, ramping conditions and even stimulation mode.
Learn more about v8
The v8 modulation unit deviates from v7.5, where we make do without the single-button operation. Control of the module is done entirely by the mobile app, where both are paired via Bluetooth. This allows a more compact design that moves ELiSE towards a wearable device.
